Trade Buddy AI is a trading discipline, journaling, and risk analysis tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when using the Trade Buddy AI website, Chrome extension, and related services.
We may collect and process the following categories of information:
- account information such as your email address and authentication-related account identifiers
- subscription and billing information processed through Stripe
- trade-related inputs and journal data such as balance, risk, entry, stop, notes, emotion, setup type, discipline score, chart context, and review history
- usage information such as analysis counts, weekly review usage, and account plan status
- technical information needed to operate the service, such as service logs, request metadata, and basic device/browser or extension context
We use information to:
- provide account access, authentication, and cloud sync
- deliver AI-powered trade analysis and weekly review features
- store, display, and manage trade journal and dashboard data
- process subscriptions, billing, and account plan changes
- enforce usage limits and prevent abuse of the service
- maintain, secure, debug, and improve the product
Trade Buddy AI uses OpenAI to process certain user-provided inputs in order to generate behavioural, discipline, and risk-analysis outputs. AI outputs are generated from the information you submit and are provided for educational and informational purposes only.
Payments and subscription management are handled by Stripe. Trade Buddy AI does not store full card numbers or full payment card details on its own servers. Billing-related information is processed according to Stripe’s systems and policies.
We may use trusted third-party providers to operate the service, including:
- Supabase for authentication, database, and related backend services
- Stripe for subscription billing and payment processing
- OpenAI for AI analysis generation
- hosting and infrastructure providers used to operate the website, backend, and related systems
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you request deletion of your account data, we will make reasonable efforts to delete or de-identify applicable information, subject to legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, or operational requirements.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures to help protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no system can guarantee absolute security, and use of the service is at your own risk.
We do not sell your personal information.
Depending on your location, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, or objection to certain processing of your information. You may also cancel your subscription through Stripe at any time if you no longer wish to continue on a paid plan.
Trade Buddy AI is not intended for children, and the service should only be used by individuals who are legally permitted to use it in their jurisdiction.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after updates become effective means you accept the revised policy.
